ROBERT DEL NAJA aka 3D, member of MASSIVE ATTACK has just opened a new blog focused on his artworks. 3D started to make graffiti writing in 80’s before evolving to the music along The Wild Bunch sound system from Bristol.
ROBERT DEL NAJA made many paintings for his TRIP-HOP band and also for free expression. Much Respect for this fuckin’ talented artist! This is a short selection of his art production, very committed as usual :

UMWELT [Newflesh Records – Fr] has just produced the 10th of his NEW FLESH STUDIO mix series. This electro bass dj set features many recent productions taken from his label. One hour of pure sound, it’s the best mix I listened this year in that kind of dark style! In a way, this UMWELT mix could be hosted as a ‘Dark electro anthem’ along with all the bass pressure and BPM that rebels need…
So Push the bass up and have a good Brainwashing :

San Francisco based duo LAZER SWORD (members are Lando Kal & Low Limit) delivers with the self-titled LP « Lazer Sword » (Innovative Leisure) a brilliant album fusing anything from rap, electro, dubstep and grime together to form a new kind of musical experience.
“Lazer Sword” also has very good collaborations like on “Topflites”, a powerful hip hop track worn by heavy basses and the incisive flow of M SAYYID (Antipop Consortium / Airborn Audio).
The fifteen tracks of “Lazer Sword” offer a journey punctuated by the sound of future music, an original and varied selection marked by heavy basses and sharp melodies which have all to make “Lazer Sword” one of the releases of the year.
