Last year, ‘Digital Sparks‘ was the electro track that i listened to the most according to the counter of my music player computer program. As you probably know software aren’t like those players on web, they only rate the listening if you listen the tune until its latest second. This sweet track produced DEEMPHASIS is actually a sneaky trick, each time I press ‘Play’ button, I can’t stop it… Indeed, this one transfers you where you’re not excepting to go. During the first part, the ambient sounds make you feel in trust but it’s already too late to realize, DEEMPHASIS has been building a spider web around you for finally playing with your mind via his nasty acid bass lines. If you don’t fear to be haunted, (re)play it :

The Vienna based label TRUST is a very unique underground imprint speaking forthright to the avant-garde of the electro niche. Indeed, their no nonsense releases are focused on the weird electronic music (related to Detroit sounds) and produced in that truthful futuristic way. Therefore some listeners feel confused by that unusual aesthetic however their release fusing abstract design & sophisticated tunes are really tasty breaking out of old electro patterns in order to push this type of music to its high-level; and all that with the help of finest & regular producers.
After the 20th release signed by STINGRAY313, it’s actually the UK Electro Break producer CLATTERBOX who returns on TRUST Label with a new ep entitled Semi-Automatic. This project contains 4 killer tracks, 2 original mixes and 2 remixes : the 1st produced by CREEPY AUTOGRAPH an alias of the talented JIMMY EDGAR & the 2nd remix is signed by LOK44 aka DANIEL POLIG (who runs Pomelo Records). Each tune of this ep makes sense dropping some hybrid vibes with a singular kind of groove and about CLATTERBOX, he seems to be in his best creative ability. Therefore the “Semi-Automatic” vinyl is simply another outstanding release coming from this label. Recommended!

After the release of his excellent hybrid electro album “Bible Eyes” on NIGHT SLUGS, EGYPTRIXX is one of the promising artists of this new wave of the electronic music. On the occasion of his venue in France, BACK TO BIONIC had the pleasure to meet him. Currently, “UK Bass” music is in the center of the attentions. On one side, the Hipsters classified it as the club music of future, on the other one, certain purists of the underground electro not wanting to hear about it.
But finally, classified music into a genre and put barriers between the styles of electronic music is not the purpose because we are just talking about MUSIC. EGYPTRIXX being presented by a lot of blogs as an actor of this new trend, BACK TO BIONIC wanted to know what is his point of view on this subject and how he approaches his own production.

WRITERS – 20 ans de Graff à Paris

WRITERS is the documentary about the history of graffiti in PARIS during 1983 to 2003. It’s like a frenchy STYLE WARS with a focus on the oldschool and also on the newschool activists. This summary of 20 years is very interesting to understand the evolution of the movement : the happiness of the discovery to a hardcore battle. Inspired by New York, connected with England and Germany, PARIS is known to have created the basement of 90′s European style. Like a Bible, this documentary explains the classic legacy of graffiti. The documentary is written by a disciple with a non-objective point of view however he has really honored the lovers of letters and that’s the most important. If it’s always necessary to start a culture by respecting the foundation…later it’s better to commit a sin : to break the rules and write the future! But Sometimes it’s good to trust again in the utopia of the purist version :
