DJ TLR [of Crème Organization] has produced a huge mix to celebrate the 20 years of BUNKER RECORDS, the underground electronic Netherlands based Label. Representing a kind of rebellion in the scene, BUNKER RECORDS is a label producing with no compromise, following the “Do it yourself” motto. This imprint is focused on the evil aspect of visual & music (Electro Acid Techno Industrial) giving them an infamous, dark and raw identity that they assume & feel as an experience to reach a kind of Freedom (BTW, it’s always good to read again the biography of this label via Discogs website in order to understand who they started, i mean that for those producers who are always crying about make money with music). The large BUNKER RECORDS’ catalog can be approach in such many ways therefore we are happy to see GUY TAVARES the grand poobah of the label commissioned this mix to the talented TLR, his selection is so fine! After 20 years of activism, of course they are totally deserved to be mentioned as an EPIC label. We guess it was/is not easy for them to survive day-by-day but for now don’t think about the future next years, just enjoy this moment, mad respect :

JOE MUGGS has produced an interesting mix comissioned by the fresh & freaky Uk label entitled UNKNOWN TO THE UNKNOWN (run by DJ HAUS). This set is a solid blend of electro bass music & Grime music, clearly not a usual jam but the result is very catchy giving a more dynamic vibe to electro (as it works always with Techno, i remind that for some electro purists who seem to have forgotten the connection) … anyway music genres are nothing, BPM is the shit! The multi-activist HEADNOAKS [Antizer0 - BlackRed] has just produced a mix dedicated to the Sweden based producer called GRAGEE. A bit underrated in the electro niche, this great producer has got nevertheless a solid discography, released for the most part on H. Productions Label. Therefore we are glad to see an electrohead mixing these dark ‘masterpieces’. Enjoy :

Dark Perfection!

Obviously for DOPPLEREFFEKT the classic pattern of LIVE set isn’t their favorite part of music. The mysterious band (and his leader) prefer staying in the dark than to be under the lights of stage. Anyway, every time they prouced themself, it’s an epic moment for electoheads. On this interesting live set recording during the “NEUTRINO performance”, GERALD DONALD was in his more familiar situation along with some scientists and visual artists. The result is in the continuity of his works and pretty well inspired by the context of this gig with a spacey conclusion… Enjoy :

We didn’t have a category of posts focused on the ‘Live sets’ because like most of producers, we think is still better to listen that on the moment during an event. However on the web, we listened some rare sets that have a sense to be share and listen in another situation… in your sweet home.

The first is the recent live set signed by the netherlands based producer HADAMARD. According to us, since his debut on Bunker Records (2006) HADAMARD is probably one of the three finest producer of Dark Electro. No more words, the music will speak for itself so let’s play this sublime set :
