Maintaining a dynamic mix when you choose to develop a dark atmosphere is a real artistic action…that’s why we are delighted to present our third podcast mixed by one of the best dj in his category, who goes by the name of UMWELT. Indeed this frenchy DJ/Producer masters chaos & bass with great ease. Therefore this mix is for the electro breaks purists who aren’t afraid to ‘kiss in the dark’. This time, the “BIONIC PODCAST 03 ” is in exclusivity entitled “The NewFlesh Studio part. 11″ as the following up of the Umwlet’s mix series started a couple years ago (before the launch of his own label in 2009)
The tracklist features a great variety from the finest underground labels and also some productions from the catalogue of NewFlesh Records like the future classic “Diary Of The Inhuman Species”. We are delighted to present our second podcast mixed by one of the most interesting new electro producer called PIP WILLIAMS. This London based activist is an open minded person who has not fear to try new ways on his production. When you listen his own tracks, between the bass, you can hear some influences coming from different kind of music that bring back something more fresh than ever. The “BIONIC PODCAST 02″ represents this open mindedness mixing a free variety of good sounds thinking with a real coherence. JON MERICK [Fr] is the Dj and co-creator of BACK TO BIONIC. This activist is really focus to up-coming sounds and searching for a modern approach to music. “BASS LEGACY” represents a staggering crossover between many kind of Bass music. The first sweet part is under the influence of Mental UK Bass for then evolved towards dirty Ghetto Bass (including some Electro Bass). Only 5% of the tracks are played like the original ones, so JON MERICK has managed the podcast in a real way. Hope you will be dig with it !
