« THE ELECTRO COMPENDIUM » Compilation featuring 116 electronic tracks [ Free Download ]

Coming from ‘nowhere’, the free compilation entitled « THE ELECTRO COMPENDIUM » did in 3 weeks & still doing a well deserved buzz, broadcasting the robotic music beyond its regular media exposure. Indeed, this attractive project has got the singularity to feature 116 tracks (Yep 116!) representing more than a quarter of the finest producers from the entire underground Electro niche reunited in order to say : the original electronica music is still here in 2012! (In a way, it will probably remind to the large audience what is behind the original name of Electro : Electro Bass, Electro Breaks, Electronica, Idm, Ambient, Hi-Tek…) This appreciated non-profit initiative is signed by the electro band VOLSOC. The entire listening in one-shot is of course not easy according to the 12 hours of music however the quality is maintained all the way. In addition, THE ELECTRO COMPENDIUM’s tracklist in its solid diversity could remind you the quality provided during the SATAMILE Records’ era! Everyone will easily make his own selection into these 116 tracks. THE ELECTRO COMPENDIUM is a real positive pace for electronica music. Recommended!

New release on SHAMELESS TOADY : DEEMPHASIS « Loss Of Gravity » EP

The rare thing always appreciated coming from the old music concepts, it’s to be able to distribute o.n.l.y his best poductions whatever the ways to release : freebie, digital, vinyl… DEEMPHASIS is actually one of new electro producers to keep this old & great method while mixing his tasty dark signature…All that made him in a good move to acess to the top level of this music niche. Therefore, we are glad to see him releasing a new 2 tracks E.P on the fresh label SHAMELESS TOADY and if you are a dark electro lover, these tunes will probably find a place in your selection (between GRAGEE’s track and a track from the GALAXIAN debut album for example)… Recommended!

The silver package label focused on dark electro continues his release series with two new vinyls produced by GALAXIAN and THE EXALTICS.

GALAXIAN makes his vinyl debut for Last Known Trajectory with an E.P entitled “The Repent”. Both tracks are taken from the excellent digital album with the same title released last year on Transient Force.

The EXALTICS vinyl entitled “We are not your friends… (Annihilate the Planet)” features 2 remixes of “The Hunch” that is a track taken from the first EP for this young label. The first remix is a raw acid version by THE EXALTICS & the second is a powerful version by HADAMARD

New release on Militant Science : PAUL BLACKFORD « Sub Mission » Album

PAUL BLACKFORD is back with a new album released on his own label Militant Science. This project entitled “Sub Mission” features 12 pure Electro tracks.
Along to this album, like for recent Militant Science’s releases of GALAXIAN & SCAPE ONE, the sound is groovy and also trippy ! This hybrid touch can be explain by the deep impact of the RAVE MUSIC that is always a good influence in England over the years. For real, The combo of DETROIT Techno and UK Rave is a digger music and it’s still fresh!
