“The Opening Of The Cerebral Gate” produced by the half of DREXCIYA JAMES STINSON a.k.a TRANSLLUSION is without any doubt one of my favorite Electro-Techno cover. I discovered this one few years before listen the full-length album that is of course a masterpiece.
I Dig this cover designed by SEMICONDUCTOR, especially its minimalist graphic design which let us imagine our own parallel world (…like the effects of Music do). The geometrical style and the colors are pretty catchy acting as a ‘logotype’ in order to be concentrated on the meaning of the picture. Therefore the cover features many levels of interpretation… However get it or not, the design composed only of straight lines is still very peaceful to watch. A real inspiration!
